WELCOME TO THE GO PROJECT!

Unique people require unique programs!  The GO Project was envisioned by a small group of youth and their leaders, who desiring hands on experiences of mission and outreach that intergrate experience into discernment, were confronted with the reality that programming that matched their theological understanding of Christ's inclusion of all and acceptance of difference in a safe questioning atmosphere did not exist.

For the past 6 years we have been offereing programs to youth, their leaders and adults.  We hope that this website will introduce you to the GO Project.

TESTIMONIALS

"The mission work of the GO Project forces theology out of the head and into the heart and hands where faith belongs. Want to feel the pulse of the evolving United Church of Canada? Come to GO!"

Rick Gunn, Minister of Music and Youth, Bedford United Church, Bedford, NS

"Working with the GO Project is my biggest point of connection to U.C.C. Ministry- it embodies what I feel called to as a member of the church, and as someone who feels called to leadership in the church. It is a sign that living our faith in community and in mission is joyful and that it is a possibility for all members of the church. Working with GO is challenging and tiring, but it so rarely felt like ‘work’ as such. I was living in ministry with people I loved and for reasons I backed."
